Set aside our paraffin oil altar lamps and switched to electrified altar lamps. Hardly quasi-Renaissance, but these will do for now.

Love the pallor created by the fluorescent bulbs; the lighting reminds me of carrozas in procession. Apt for summer, and should switch to incandescent bulbs for the rainy season.
