Watched the SEA Games opening on YouTube. It was as entertaining as a cheer leading competition, and afterward, quite ephemeral and forgettable once you got down to your usual life's problems. It actually made me feel like I was in ancient Rome, when all it took to pacify the people were "bread and circuses".
