The most questionable pieces of antique furniture are tables. They contain more DNA of people past and present than other pieces. All sorts of activities were held on their surfaces--meals, work, prayer, meditation, seances, games, gossip, conversation, discussions, bitter arguments, even lonely spells with tears shed. As such, they retain a lot more memory than other pieces do, especially if they are made of wood. Unless you actually like accessing those memories, cleanse the tables regularly with water mixed with rock salt, followed by a wipe with extra virgin coconut oil.
