Neil's birthday party is ongoing at M.'s cafe. He was 17 when he first worked at the cafe. He is now  21, is renting a room on the compound, and has a gainful job elsewhere.

All of M.'s cousins and nephews celebrate their birthdays at the cafe. They are quite clannish, everyone is always in attendance.

I sent some fried chicken over for the staff.

They are now all singing and carousing.
