I can understand and appreciate why Hogwarts Castle looks very old, but why is the faculty dressed in pre-medieval and 1940s clothing while the students are in modern clothing? And why does Dolores Umbridge's wardrobe look like it's straight out of the 1960s closet of Jacqueline Kennedy?

Why also not skip some of the magical communication with gadgets such as laptops and cell phones?
