Always consider your accounts not as SOCIAL media accounts but as PERSONAL media accounts, i.e., as your electronic diaries for yourself to refer to whenever you need to do so. As such, it really doesn't matter whether others Like or Comment on your Postings. It doesn't even matter whether you keep a List of one Friend or 5,000 Friends.

Define your social interactions instead as actual, face-to-face, encounters.
