Watched "Gag Reel" from the Grimm DVD collection. Characters falling, slipping, complaining of the heat, flubbing their lines, breaking out in laughter during serious scenes, and dancing spontaneously. A nice relief after watching the last episode of Season 4, "Cry Havoc", which was really quite heavy, with a lot of main characters dying.
Watched "A Morphed Reality: Behind the Scenes of Grimm" from the Grimm DVD collection. VFX experts explain their craft, from placing tracking marks on performers' faces, creating 3D ripples on their faces, and achieving the final morphs via computer graphics. Performers describe how difficult it was for them to do their pre-morph head movements, and how difficult it was especially for guest performers. Absolutely no Wesen make-up was applied in all of the episodes.
Watched "Set Tour with Jacqueline Toboni" from the Grimm DVD collection. The performer who plays Trubel brings us through Aunt Marie's burned-down trailer and through the basement of the spice shop. Love those props.
Watched "Highlight Reel" from the Grimm DVD collection:
1) "Bud Recaps Four Seasons of Grimm
The performer who plays Bud has a non-jittery voice in real life that gives a lively narrative and summary of all four seasons of Grimm. A great pick-up for viewers who want to see how the plots are strung together.
2) "Fights"
A montage of fight scenes from the previous episodes
3) "Ready, Set, Woge!"
A montage of woging scenes
4) "Why Do Wesen Fall in Love?"
A montage of romantic scenes, especially the variety of kissing scenes, from the previous episodes.
