Watched "Woman in Black" from Grimm, the woman in the title referring not to Adelind but to Nick's mother who, apparently, reincarnates from the dead. This is the it's-time-to-summarize-where-we-are-before-the-audience-forgets episode, where all subplots pick up from where they left off and all antagonists make an appearance and the action goes berserk. Akira Kimura, with his Viking invincibility tattoo, figures here and is temporarily defeated in the end. It is a fact, though, that this series is gripping because all antagonists pose grave, serious, and unpredictable threats.
Adelind's cat Majique makes her debut. (But how Adelind is able to mix a potent, cat potion considering that she lost all of her powers perplexes me.) Nick finally attempts to explain to Juliette what he is and what the big picture is, and those two sequences (inside Aunt Marie's trailer and in Monroe's house) are a well-written summary of what the entire series is all about.
Love those old photos affixed to the Grimm books with a drop of sealing wax in each corner.
