Dinner at home with Aubrey. My sister Remi sent some food over from the send-off party for my nephew's son, who is flying to Oregon for his college years. Aubrey and I stayed home; I was painting and didn't feel like getting dressed. Angelique and J. are going to the party from Angelique's fourth midterm exam.

There was a sound check for live music this afternoon. Between the party music on the north end of the compound and M.'s cafe music on the south end, the place is hopping like a merry Christmas Eve on a September Saturday night.
