Still rereading Postern of Fate. When we first read that more than 30 years, ago, my sister Sylvia and I could not appreciate it. I even recall abandoning it before I was halfway through. It was a very atypical Agatha Christie. Nothing, absolutely nothing, seemed to be happening.
This time around I suddenly saw that it was an Agatha Christie heavily influenced by Anton Chekov. It is a marvelous sketch of different characters.
