I attribute my versatility as a writer to the variety of writing desks which I use according to my changing moods: an old-fashioned, faux Sheraton office desk with a marble top outside my bedroom; a desk in a womb-like space inside my bedroom; an outdoor writing table beside the driveway; a small writing table on my bedroom's rear porch; Authentic Models portable, wooden laptops; and a Virginia Woolf wooden tablet that I can carry with me wherever I go.
