Brian helped me pin this piece of 4 feet x 3 feet loose, primed canvas on a wooden panel this afternoon, in preparation for a portrait I am doing next. The owner lives overseas, and so I couldn't have the canvas mounted or cradled, for easier shipping purposes. After the finished portrait is varnished and dry, I will roll the canvas and place it inside a protective, PVC tube.
