"Sir, I think there’s something wrong with me. I was chatting with a nephew online and I saw some shadows behind him. I joked that he should have set some offerings (an atang) for his deceased father and sister because it’s his 21st birthday. I thought they were celebrating with him. This morning, I learned his died on a motorcycle accident under the influence of alcohol. I feel guilty, sad, and angry at the same time. I lit some incense and candles after I said a small prayer for his soul but I am unsettled. Where those shadows the sundo or was I being paranoid?"
My reply:
Hello ________!
The "shadows" you saw "behind" your nephew were not separate entities. They comprised what we call the black aura that envelops a person if he is in mortal danger or about to die. This kind of aura is most evident in persons with terminal illnesses in hospital; in many cases, the black aura remains on their beds long after their cadavers have been taken away.
You have a special gift for reading auras, though you may not be aware of it--and your psychic vision is so sensitive that you can even read auras on computer screens. I suggest that you develop this gift. There are many resources available online and in print, especially in book stores in Australia.
What you saw was not a "sundo"--his demise could actually have been prevented by aura cleansing and a healthy, psychological attitude. Do not feel guilty for not having prevented it, though, for you did not know anything about this at the time.
