Watched "You Don't Know Jack" from Grimm. A mysterious murderer has been slitting Wesen hookers' throats and cutting out their internal organs. After Nick and Hank move all of the undamaged stuff from Aunt Marie's burned trailer to the spice shop basement, they hit the books and come upon the possibility that the original Jack the Ripper, surviving all the years, is in Portland.

Captain Renard's boring, psychotic fugues continue. He goes to Henrietta to ask for help, but when Henrietta tells him that she needs more time to think of a cure, he leaves. "Jack" then arrives and slits Henrietta's throat.

Adelind, with the help of Rosalee and Monroe, mixes a potion to suppress Juliette's Hexenbiest out of boiled parts of her mother's exhumed cadaver. She takes a draft of it to test its potency and apparently loses most of her own Hexenbiest powers.

Juliette, now in alliance with the Royals, sends an e-mail to Nick's mother informing her that Nick is in trouble, so that she will come and help him. Nick pleas with her to come to the spice shop to take the rest of the potion that Adelind prepared. She comes, but only to smash the potion bottle and cause a lot of damage in the spice shop.

Some observations:

This is the second time there is a continuity glitch involving the same oversight: a shot in which Nick's eyes are turned to the left followed by a shot in which his eyes are turned to the right.

Why does Adelind seem to know everything about Aunt Marie's trailer when Nick and Hank move stuff from it into the spice shop basement?

When the characters prepare potions, why don't they, from previous cases, prepare more than what they need in case a single bottle of it gets smashed again?

Why does Nick, who is single and not engaged to be married to anyone, not use condoms?
