The name you are pondering is neither Nicomideon nor Nicomedes. It is NICOLAIDES. If you did not encounter him in your art studies, buy his timeless book and do the exercises therein faithfully. If you've actually done his exercises before, there may be one that you skipped or that seems to have given you great difficulty. Master that and you'll conquer the hurdles along your journey. At any rate go through the book--for the first time or again--because there is something special there for you.
