Back from jalan-jalan at the center with Toto. Our Monday experience in the outside world while under ECQ again. It wasn't as bad as last year, but the banks have been rotating branches again, resulting in very long lines.
Withdrew all of my monthly pension and had all of it changed to pesos; I can't be bothered to go to the money changer's every week in this environment. Paid our electric and phone bills--the lines there were also very long, but thank God for senior lines.
I don't blame the bulk of this surge in the pandemic on the government as other people do. I blame it on the atchays. Frankly, whoever the President is or will be, the sad fact is that the atchays, in the millions, will always be there.
Unfortunately, the trains and the buses and the jeepneys aren't helping any. I suspect that most of the contamination occurs in them.
