If you are maintaining a regular oracle reading room or corner or space in your house, make sure that, when you are seated at the table, you are facing east and the querent is facing south, or seated at your left. Hence the querent should never be seated across you. 

Facing the direction the sun rises endows your psyche with enlightenment, while the querent will continuously project information-laden energy toward your left side, which is your receiving side.
