I clean my stuff best. My idea of a studio apprentice is not someone who learns painting under me but someone who picks up after me in the studio and cleans all of my instruments well. I've had a series of six such apprentices and the last one messed up my studio more than he cleaned it. I was completely relieved when he left, and, of course, I will never take on a studio apprentice again.
