Our foyer mirror. I selected this after viewing all the Hercule Poirot DVDs that my sister Sylvia sent me. Love the art deco production design of that series.
Reflected in the mirror is my writing area. An excavated pocket lamp stands on top of my antique, blue-and-white, Toh Q'ing jar. An antique, Maranao likos, or celebration banner, hangs from the ceiling. The bronze chandelier holds glass, vigil candle holders. Candles are lit in it for atmosphere--and during blackouts.
