Twentieth-century teachers' lines that you will never hear in electronic classes:

"Pens down, pass your papers, finished or unfinished."

"Draw your margins on your sheet."

"Go to the prefect of discipline's office."

"Stand up."

"Please erase the blackboard."

"Clear your desk."

"Fall in line, single file."

I wonder how many other obsolete lines I can think of. Sadly, what this means to me is that inflexible teachers whose concept of classroom teaching is built on a foundation of live performance and group dynamics will soon realize that they are unhappy, that they are in the wrong business, and that they need to look for other jobs.
