Wands

Two  more upgraded Harry Potter wands.

Left, a third-edition wand made of PVC-coated aluminum, sturdier than the first-edition resin wands and lighter than the second-edition bronze and steel-core wands. This one is Newton Scamander's, from the _Fantastic Beasts_ series. "Newt" is Albus Dumbledore's younger half-brother, a British wizard, and a magizoologist

Right, a second-edition, steel-core Dolores Umbridge wand. The Umbridge wand is known to be Ollivander's shortest wand in existence. The original is allegedly 8 inches long, but this one, for some reason, measures 10.

Like copper, aluminum and steel conduct electricity, so, even if these are PVC-coated, you won't find me wielding them outdoors and in stormy weather.

Like the Queenie wand, the Newt wand is a scoop wand for taking in energy, as Lord Voldemort's/Tom Riddle's wand is a hook wand for fetching things closer to you.

Yes, I repurpose and reprogram wands, and they have nothing to do with the movies they originally appeared in.

These bring my upgraded Harry Potter wands to a total of six. (I actually ordered a seventh two months ago, but it just never arrived.)

I might mention here that the Umbridge wand is potentially one of the most powerful wands in the collection, if used properly. The graduated bosses amplify and focus energy, and the translucent bead (below which the thumb is placed) indicates the amount of energy being shot forward. (Nothing to do with the actual character of Dolores Umbridge in the series.)
