Succeeding one there were 3: 1 bright and 2 faint. Are orbs human spirits? Can they be enjoined to be friendly? Do they encamp at locations/just pass through?"

Orbs are always elementals, never human spirits. If you have a camera with flash (a cell phone will do, of course), take photos of the same areas without lights on but WITH flash. See if they show up as well.

Orbs appear for no other reason than that the elementals have been disturbed from their resting places, usually by loud noises such as music, a passing brass band, and yelling.
