Today, in the Philippines, there is devils' traffic--and now there is devils' drought. The devils hover above the weak and the vulnerable, possess them, and make them go berserk. In other cases the devils push them into a deep and dark depression.

Perhaps it is a way of decimating the population. It is certainly a development.
