Last month my friend from the Middle East foisted three more red cedar trunks, hand-carved with brass fittings, on me and Brian is now cleaning two of them with fine sandpaper and a brush. I think I'll have these varnished in natural finish. I recall that the last three boxes were varnished in red mahogany.
