A man and his wife struggled to succeed in life and built a clinic and a restaurant that made them very rich. They had children, whom they hoped would be a physician, a pharmacist, a restaurant manager, and a chef. This would ensure everyone's continued prosperity for generations to come.

The children were raised in an atmosphere of democracy. As a result, they pursued their own dreams and "followed their heart". One became a ballet dancer, the other an artist, the third a classroom teacher, the fourth a stand-up comedian. None of them desired to carry on the enterprises of their parents.

Everyone eventually died in poverty.

The same thing is happening in our country right now, no matter how grandiose its plans are. Farmers' children are moving to the city in pursuit of office jobs, perceiving those as the heavenly life. No one wants to be a professional carpenter and  a professional plumber--such jobs are being left to moonlighters.

It is all right to dream, but ensure that you dream with clear vision, and that you dream not only for yourself but for everyone else as well.
