Reversible, Haring Bakal kerchief

The Spirit Questors and I spend every Thursday afternoon doing research on Asian magic, and I correct errata whenever I can. In this "panyo", for example, it is evident that many practitioners of Philippine magic in the 40s and 50s were quite unread, if not illiterate, and borrowed heavily from Catholic, Christian, Islamic, and Judaic texts. Take the triangle on the right side of the head of Jesus, which reads, on the outside, "ISOHIROS ATHANATOS". The original source is really the Greek Trisagion ("Thrice Holy") recited during Holy Week in Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, and Eastern Catholic churches. The correct line is "AGIOS O THEOS, AGIOS ISKHUROS, AGIOS ATHANATOS ELEESON EMAS", but is usually truncated to "THEOS ISCHYROS ATHANATOS" ("GOD, STRONG, IMMORTAL") by Haring Bakal practitioners.

(Many such corrections of oraciones are Posted in my Secret Group _The Oracle of Cubao_).
