Finally recovering from a long and dreadful relapse, and it's like getting rid of a blob that stuck for days and nights to my head and back. I have no idea why, whenever I have a relapse, it ends up becoming intestinal flu--maybe because I eat spicy food, or maybe because Bioflu has a way of taking a fever from your head and displacing it in your intestines.

I fell ill after inhaling all that boral powder the arch workers used two weeks ago. Believe me, it is worse than turpentine. I wasn't pleased with the work they did and had to hire a second group of workers to finish the job to my satisfaction. By that time I thought I was recovering from my illness, but now I was exposed not only to boral powder but to silk-coat and cement powder as well.

Tonight M. assigned Brian and Q. on "lifewatch," which was to stay the whole night on the small loggia outside my bedroom and in the foyer, and to look in on me from time to time. Brian gave me a two-hour, deep-tissue pounding massage, which snapped me back to my normal senses. I set them up with snacks and cigarettes for the night and instructed them to leave 5:00 AM, which is about the time Angelique wakes up to get ready for work.
